The Pre Sales Engineer Organization provides Pre-Sale technical support to the sales team and end user customers, primarily engaged in all facets of Pre sales technical engagements, ranging from demonstrations, proof of concepts, lab and pilot test implementations, Request for proposal (RFP) responses & Pre-Implementation troubleshooting.
Senior Sales Engineer is a technical pre-sales engineer who combines technical knowledge with sales skills and vertical expertise. Responsible for defining and/or designing technical requirements and recommending appropriate technical solutions that support the achievement of Zebra Technologies sales goals. Candidate will be expected to have a deep knowledge of industry standard technologies, vertical markets and/or Zebra products (mobile computing, software development, security, printers and supplies) Candidate will develop relationships with sales team, internal engineering, and key technical customer contacts in order to leverage these resources to Zebra’s advantage. This position will lead in the development and execution of a technology strategy for assigned accounts or territory. It represents and communicates the technical elements of solutions to customers and/or partners. Strong communications, business/marketing, financial, and computer skills required.
Some travel will be required.
