Responsible for coordinating logisitcs services and carriers in North America and Latin America
Central coordinator for all aspects of transportation and logistics in North America and Latin America.
Manages day-to-day operations for transportation carriers including shipment tracking, KPI performance, expediting, and issue resolution
Coordinates between transportation carriers, the DC's, and the rest of the Zebra supply chain
Acts as project manager or part of the implementation team for logistics projects within North America/Latin America
Consults on transportation law, processes or policy including AES, C-TPAT, NMFC road classifications, shipping documentation, C-TPAT or other security policy, any any other best practices or industry standards
Supports cross-border transactions for US-Mexico movements
Facilitates discussions between supply chain teams and transportation carriers
Responsible for target KPI metrics
Responsible for identification of areas for improvements or efficiencies to drive annual cost reductions
5+ years’ experience in Transportation Coordination
Independent and self-motivated worker, capable of working without direct supervision
Experience in driving transportation network efficiencies
Proven project management experience
Ability to communicate upwards
Strong working knowledge of transportation regulations including AES, C-TPAT, IATA, IMDG, NMFC, Incoterms
2-4 years experience in supporting cross-border trade movement
