Overview

We're looking for a talented Training professional to join us in a new role as we seek to develop the skills and understanding of our teams in the positioning and selling of new innovative technologies.   Responsible for crafting and delivering sales process, methodology, and solution selling skill training to Zebra employees and Partners.   As an Instructor, you'll be able to prepare, deliver, and reinforce Solution Selling engagements in a workshop environment, as well as events over the web and virtual modalities.  This position also requires a person to understand and articulate at a high-level, Zebra’s EAI vision, capabilities, business value, and offerings.

Responsibilities

 

  • Devise creative training solutions or instructional design skills including virtual synchronous course delivery.
  • Demonstrates ability to shift from teaching to undertaking course development, customizing or updating content.
  • Displays capability of delivering multiple courses in more than one technology area.
  • Keep attendees interested and engaged during a multi-day workshop
  • Provide coaching and reinforcement training to help with adoption of Zebra Solutions
  • Prepare workshop materials, evaluations, summary reports, and metrics in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop a solid understanding of all Zebra products and Solution offerings
  • Development and customization of training workshop materials
  • Work with Business Units to understand expectations and ensure needs are met
  • Conduct pre-workshop calls with Solutions team
  • Acts as a Solution Selling champion by generating ideas for new learning experiences.
  • Exposes the team to best practices in learning modalities and introducing methods for brainstorming and creative thinking.
  • Demonstrates leadership in technical skill and work behaviors for the team
  • Job shadow solution field engagements and deliveries to strengthen knowledge and incorporate back into the training
  • Serve as a Solution Selling SME and in field Coach
  • Debrief Solutions & Sales team on strengths, weaknesses, and next steps
  • Certified Solution Facilitator or Experience Selling or bringing new Solutions to market

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with demonstrable experience in creating and delivering meaningful training within a technology sales organisation, ideally with some understanding of solutions sales and its methodologies.  You'll have strong facilitation experience and excellent presentation skills along with a creative, flexible approach enabling you to amend and change your material and delivery according to feedback and success. 

 

Preferably you'll have a degree in a Learning and Development, business or technical field but we value related experience also.   Extensive sales facilitation experience is essential including Learning and Development content creation expertise.   Formal training in this area is strongly preferred

 

Strong communications skills are critical - listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar.  

 

Understanding of Adult Learning Theories along with vertical market knowledge in key categories is important. You should demonstrate good judgment in decision making and be able to apply knowledge and experience to guide decisions

 

This roles involves European and wider travel on a regular basis; you'll need to exhibit enthusiasm, high energy and a dynamic personality.
