The Senior Manager, Strategy will report to the VP, Strategy and will be responsible for supporting strategy development and execution activities across the company.  He/She will work closely with the Corporate Development team to identify and evaluate strategic growth and performance improvement opportunities that significantly drive Zebra’s value.  The Senior Manager, Strategy will also support Zebra’s strategic PMO (program management office), which encompasses a portfolio of company-wide strategic initiatives that have been prioritized by Zebra’s senior management team.  This is a highly collaborative role with significant interactions leadership across Zebra’s business units and functions.


  1. Support annual strategic planning process
  • Work across business units to align BU strategies and metrics
  • Evaluate strategic options in support of strategy development
  • Support internal and external communications of corporate strategy
  • Drive continuous progress on corporate strategy implementation
  1. Manage company-wide portfolio of strategic initiatives (PMO).
  • Provide strategic guidance and project leadership/management to initiative teams
  1. Strategic Evaluations
  • Analyze strategic alternatives and make recommendations to the Corp Dev team for implementation
  1. Support inorganic strategic activities
  • Support M&A activities, particularly in developing and vetting strategic investment theses
  • Support venture investing activities
  1. Act as thought partner to VP, Strategy on a variety of matters


  1. BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
  2. 5+ years of professional experience with 3 or more years strategy experience preferred
  3. Consulting background preferred
  4. Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or in a strategy function in a corporation preferred
  5. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills
  8. Proven success in dealing with business leaders on various levels and experience working in a matrix environment
  9. Self-starter, collaborative team player with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude and strong work ethic
