Overview

Zebra Technologies is seeking to add a highly motivated, passionate Sales Leader to the Inside Channel Sales Team.  This position focuses on recruiting, developing, directing and aligning the activities and contributions of eight diverse inside sales professionals, who focus primarily on managing resellers, to achieve sales and developmental goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and develop results oriented sales professionals with a focus on driving growth through reseller planning and end user value proposition development.
  • Develop GTM strategies to increase mindshare, sales growth & reseller market share.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key partner executives and decision makers in region.
  • Continually refine and improve channel sales process with a focus on partner planning and development, best practices and maintaining partner sales funnel integrity.
  • Conduct regular reviews to evaluate team strategy, progress and provide feedback.
  • Drive results by engaging, motivating and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure that sales quotas/goals are achieved on assigned accounts and regional goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies that support overall Sales/Company priorities and key initiatives.
  • Assist team with career development planning.
  • Build a strong relationship with the Regional Channel Sales Directors to ensure regional alignment.
  • Interface with various internal functions such as Product management, Customer Service, Aftermarket, Channel Marketing, Finance, IS, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales to ensure appropriate coordination of activities, support requirements and timely communication of programs, products and solutions to Zebra’s channel and customers.
  • Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Develop training plans for continuous development of team’s sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Regular travel with Account Managers for key partner meetings in respective region is required.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of five years of sales experience, and at least one year of sales leadership experience
    • Experience in partnering and influencing resellers in a one or two tier distribution model preferred; and ability to train and coach inside sales teams on these initiatives
    • Experience in an indirect channel sales environment preferred
    • Experience in a technology, manufacturing, hardware or software environment
    • Demonstrated sales development and training skills
    • Solid oral and written presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication and collaboration
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and Power Point
