Overview

The responsibility of the Enterprise Intelligent Software (EIS) Director of Portfolio Marketing is to lead the cross-functional marketing team to develop marketing strategy and execute against that strategy to drive internal and external awareness, coherence, and alignment with regionally based vertical and channel partner sales teams’ priorities.  The individual will be responsible for the overall strategy, direction and execution of marketing across all four verticals at Zebra. Further the individual will lead the marketing of the newly created Enterprise Asset Intelligence (EAI) Data Services Portfolio. This role collaborates with the senior leadership team to organize and execute quarterly portfolio roadmap plans and drive its execution with internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Regional GTM Strategy for EAI Data Services along with vertical sales leadership, including reputation, demand creation, sales / channel enablement and market intelligence tactics
  • Contribute to Global EAI Solutions Marketing strategy to ensure regional view is correctly represented in upstream global marketing efforts.
  • Orchestrate across multiple marketing functions, sales, business intelligence, strategy and services to successfully execute against the annual regional vertical GTM strategy.
  • Accountable for key content development, particularly high value EAI assets for thought leadership & lead generation and account based marketing programs to expand and close pipeline
  • Manage a small direct team to ensure coverage of marketing support for key, strategic, named and territory accounts across multiple routes to market – direct, partner, distribution, etc.
  • Build & nurture a customer reference pipeline in region
  • Comprehensive regional GTM marketing plan – annual, quarterly
  • Solution pipeline, revenue – marketing influenced & driven
  • Successful seller adoption of enablement materials
  • Regional Customer Reference Pipeline
  • Frequent industry, customer and partner presentations with customer and partner senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education:
    • BA/BS degree in relatable field. Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Preferred Work Experience (years):
    • 12+ years of experience in relevant business development or marketing role with previous experience to the “big core 4” vertical markets (3 years required, 5 years preferred); 3+ years of management experience.
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Fluent and articulate in data and software
    • Budget management – planning, forecasting, etc.
    • Understanding of the complex business go to market models
    • Strategic marketing planning – segmentation, sizing, spend
