This computer vision and image processing engineer will work with the EVM Data Capture team to design and/or develop software for mobile device applications using computer visioning technologies. Responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Evaluation of camera systems based on image quality benchmarking.
  • Development & prototype computer vision systems to solve specific problems. E.g. 3D imaging by laser scanning or stereo vision.
  • Image classification based on graphical representation and/or using machine learning techniques.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Imaging Science or related.
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Matlab or Python.
  • Theoretical knowledge in image processing and mathematics.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing MS or PhD with research in the field of computer vision or imaging system development
  • Experience with machine learning
  • Experience with 3D imaging or photogrammetry technologies.
  • Familiarity with libraries such as OpenCV
  • Experience with Android Development Studio
  • Experience with cloud based data/image archiving and delivery
  • Knowledge of general optics and experience with optical systems is a plus
