Internship with the Zebra mechanical engineering customer response team (ME ECRT). ME ECRT works on post release product efforts, supporting terminal and accessory designs that have been released to production. These efforts include, but are not limited to, customer issues, product enhancement efforts, cost reduction efforts, internal engineering investigations, end of life support, and design team feedback. The primary focus is working to resolve mechanical engineering related issues and concerns on released products.
Interns will get exposure into full product life cycle (concept to End of Sale), engineering problem solving, and the best practices to making a robust design.
Responsibilities will include supporting lead engineers on current issues, facilitating testing and verification of solutions, learning the support process for sustaining products, and possibly working efforts on their own.
We are looking for a 2 to 3 years accredited College/University student in pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must have good communications skills, good problem solving skills, and good multitasking abilities. Must have some CAD experience (Creo is preferred).
