Senior Quality Technician

The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product / repair center quality.


  • Uses considerable judgement and initiative to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra’s quality-assurance processes.
  • Conducts more complex nonconforming material investigations and reports to Zebra’s authorized vendors as appropriate.
  • Support new product quality plan implementations.
  • Collaborates with other teams to drive continuous improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the Zebra Engineering teams to drive product resolution.
  • May work with engineering staff to develop methods and procedures for quality assurance and control.


  • Education:
    • High School education or equivalent.
  • Work Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience.
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong working knowledge of Zebra products and experience with process auditing, quality tools & data analysis.
    • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Customer service values / orientation.
    • Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management).
    • Strong communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar).
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task.
    • Implementation & maintaining of ISO/TL quality management system is advantage.
