Overview

Business Analysts support the operations they are aligned with by providing reporting, interpretation and data-based recommendations to business leaders.

Responsibilities

  1. Resolves sales order booking issues from Regional Order Management teams in a timely manner with minimal assistance.
  2. Develop and maintains the End of Life report that provides visibility to various groups on product status.
  3. Support enhancements and maintenance of sellable item template for new item creation in Agile.
  4. Provide direction and guidance to Product Configuration Management (PCM), Sales, and Supply Chain as necessary on product status and life cycle phases.
  5. Support New Product releases & End-of-Sale product transitions by timely approval of change requests through the Agile system. Monitor and adjust orderability levers to help reduce excess inventory.
  6. Review Product Marketing Bulletins (PMBs) and Distributor Notices (DNs) and advice Product Management on appropriate timelines, alignment with product status in Oracle and any required changes to communications.
  7. Provide back-up support on processing of component Last-Time-Buy analysis by securing feedback from product management as required.
  8. Provide back-up support to Solution Builder Team on maintaining on-line Product Catalog as needed.
  9. Help support, design and implement PLM enhancements/controls/reports into Oracle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  10. Support Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) & Systems Integration Testing (SIT) on enhancements to Oracle ERP
  11. Analyze processes to improve efficiency and/or methods of operations.
  12. Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with engineering, supply chain, and project/product management.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, engineering or technical discipline
    2. Strong PC skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and pivot tables, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
    3. Good oral and written communication skills
    4. Team orientated with ability to effectively interface with associates in all disciplines and functions
    5. Ability to manage requests with short timelines.
    6. Strong Knowledge of MRP/ERP (Material/Enterprise Resource Planning) and PDM/PLM (Product Data/Lifecycle Management) systems and processes a plus
