  • Overview

    Performs post-release engineering of solutions across several platforms.  Able to implement “best-minimal fixes” that keep technical debt to a minimum while offering time-sensitive customer responses.  Communicate appropriate test planning to validate repairs.  Ability to model system components to adequately test repairs under load conditions.  Interface with customers and partners to understand failure symptoms.  Works effectivity in a global environment supporting mission critical solutions.


    • Drive solutions to functional and operational issues for released software in a team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to quickly triage problems, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution.
    • Consult with Technical Documentation and Professional Services to enhance any needed deployment or operational documentation.
    • Work with different application and platform team members to obtain an overview of intended functionality and code-level functionality.
    • Build a suite of environments to adequately cover maintenance work on a variety of operating systems, tools and environments.
    • Provide risk assessment for all modified code; recognize need for Regulatory and Security concerns.
    • Work with team contributing to design and architecture. 
    • Conduct Performance Testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
    • Collaborate with team members from Development, QA and Support.
    • Work with Release Manager and development teams in an Agile environment.



    • 3+ years experience with Java or .NET.
    • 2+ years experience with programming/scripting languages and tools (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Node, NiFi, etc.).  Multiple proficiencies a strong plus.
    • 3+ years experience with systems architecture and APIs, streaming protocols and SOAP or RESTful endpoints.​
    • 2+ years work with relational and noSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).



    • Experience with source-control systems (GIT, Subversion, PVCS, etc.).
    • Experience with running front-end applications like Apache, NodeJS, load balancers and similar technologies in production environment.
    • Basic understanding of Monitoring tool sets and custom alerting, log analysis.
    • Basic understanding of networking and security (TCP/IP, IPSec, Tcpdump).
    • Basic understanding of Docker containers a strong plus.
    • U.S. Only:
      • Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.
      • Preferred Work Experience (years): Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience or Masters degree and 3+ years of engineering experience.
