Company is making significant investments in industry-leading solutions including Next Generation technologies and re-design of the Core server infrastructure, datacenters, cellular technology, Mobile device management, mobile inventory applications, nexgen handheld hardware, software infrastructure and development approach.     Responsibilities

    Experienced, innovative Network Engineer who will monitor and administer network servers, develop and support wireless and cellular solutions, maintain data files, ensure integrity of system backups, manage Windows 2008/12/16 servers, perform hardware and software upgrades, troubleshoot and support network equipment, provide protocol and standards expertise, particularly in regards to traffic monitoring.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Supports/troubleshoots network and telecom issues and coordinates with vendors and clients for resolution
    • Mentoring other staff to bring them up to speed on Access Points, routers and cellular technologies
    • Interaction with Vendors to identify Solutions, functionality and pricing.
    • Provides support and escalation services for network related mission critical systems on a rotational basis
    • Design and maintain Windows Server infrastructure including virtualization, SQL clustering, VHD clustering, ongoing software/firmware patches, system security and operating system upgrades
    • Plans, designs and implements cellular solutions for use in client environments.
    • Provides guidance to other less experienced professionals

    Qualifications

    Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience

    Preferred Work Experience (years): Minimum of 5 years of experience.

    • Ability to understand end user issues
    • Proficient in scripting, Powershell preferred
