Work closely with customers to understand the product issues, translate those into value add and cost effective solutions. Work with the Asia based ODMs on their designs and developing solutions for customer issues and concerns. Initiate and ensure a smooth transition to production and maintenance. Solutions must be formally and completely tested and documented.
Evaluate customer reported product concerns from SPRs (System Problem Report). Work closely with the design teams, product marketing, Tier II, and customers to understand the issues and translate them into cost effective and sound complete solutions. Assist Asia based ODMs to design and develop these solutions utilizing current company technology best design practices. Initiate and ensure a smooth transition to Production and Service. Solutions must be formally and completely documented and approved by the product.
