  • Overview

    On our Data Platform Engineering team (DPE - Savanna), the Technical Program Manager serves as the day-to-day representative for Data Platform to the rest of the organization, including key business stakeholders, various application engineers and Platform architects around the world.   This analyst provides data services and subject matter expertise to support software engineering, financial reporting, fraud management, data governance, data integrity, security, compliance, audits and data provisioning projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Works in cross-functional group to determine requirements for data, metadata, data quality and performance.
    • Develop, own and drive the comprehensive strategy and program for accomplishing a full migration from our legacy systems to our new platform in (TBD - Google/MSFT).
    • Engage, socialize and present data solutions back to cross-functional groups.
    • Analyze and document system impact, use cases, data requirements, data dictionary, and sample data for new software features.
    • Product Owner role for data scrum teams managing priorities, dependencies across service teams and grooming a backlog of work for Data Platform.
    • Work with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications and develop logical models for features.
    • Work with production data to validate feature requirements, analyze behavior and provide support to application and operational teams.
    • Apply data governance, data privacy and data classification policies.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree.
    • Agile development experience.
    • Understanding of data services and offerings.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking and flawless execution in a very fast-paced environment
    • Ability to handle multiple project assignments simultaneously.
    • Excellent organization and project management skills, solid written and oral communication skills.
    • Proactive, quick learner, willing to take ownership of assignments and see through to successful completion.
    • Motivated, career-oriented, team player who is organized, professional and friendly.
