The Quality Engineering Team designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods as well as monitoring contract manufacturer and component suppliers for adherence to Zebra specifications and quality standards.
Manages a large unit or several smaller units through subordinate managers who oversee units that are functionally similar. Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Substantial involvement in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operation(s) but which may also have company-wide effect. Operates with a larger degree of autonomy than a manager role. Represents the unit at meetings or on committees. Major focus on Proactive startagies to exceed Key Process Indicators for the Quality function.
