  • Overview

    The Demand Strategy Manager ensures the creation, delivery, and execution of a series of marketing programs that drive demand for Zebra solutions, in alignment with regional & vertical market goals. The position oversees the campaign-based demand generation process for a specific vertical or portfolio, in close coordination with peers around the world. 

    • Serve as the global vertical content SME
    • Serve as the routes to market SME and partner with regional vertical marketing to build WW GTM strategies and plans
    • Build & deliver core vertical platform and solutions/use case assets to regional vertical marketing


    • Build global WW GoTo Market plan for vertical and solutions leveraging the global brand and solutions architecture to attain a thought leadership position in the market
    • Collaborate with vertical and product-focused strategists in creating and executing a campaign plan designed to generate demand for their area of responsibility.
    • Interprets the marketing strategy to define campaign objectives, goals and identify the marketing mix of deliverables.
    • Manage the creation and deployment of campaign assets to achieve plan goals, including e-mail, digital, print, event-based marketing tactics, among others.
    • Develop a deep understanding of VOC and end user/ decision maker personas in alignment with the Buyer’s Journey
    • Act as the “demand creation expert” for area of responsibility, including the monitoring of tactical performance, market trends, industry best practices to drive strategic insights and adjustments.
    • Top-level comms plan and “campaign map” for area of responsibility, collating all planned tactics for the vertical or portfolio in question.
    • Build project plans and execute day to day management to ensure on-time/on-budget delivery of demand generation programs and assets in support of the vertical campaign in region.
    • Lead virtual team including, regional & global vertical marketers and agencies in the creation and WW execution of market-ready vertical assets
    • Align with Marketing Ops, Global Product Marketing and Brand teams to ensure common process, look and feel for all assets; maintain assets in a common digital asset management system
    • Annual WW GTM plan, production timeline with budget
    • Monthly tracking of performance of production plan and budgets
    • Ongoing Buyers’ Journey content mapping for area of focus; identification & long-term plan for filling gaps in collaboration with key stakeholders


    • Preferred Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar.
    • Preferred Work Experience (years):
      • 5+ years relevant work experience in B2B marketing
    • Key Skills and Competencies:
      • Depth of experience in creation and strategic implementation of multi-touch/ multi-phase campaigns in support of technically-advanced products & solutions
      • Ability to think strategically and guide fellow stakeholders, based on Marketing expertise.
      • Strong tactical marketing skills & creative vision.
      • An outcome-focused approach to marketing and demand generation.
      • Exceptional influencing skills; Leading without direct authority; Cross functional partnership & leadership skills
      • Strong communication skills to relay campaign plans and results to internal and external audiences.
      • Solid understanding of translating business requirements and brand personality into assets, copy, and design
      • Ability to align stakeholder insights/ requirements with buyer’s journey realities to produce usable, relevant assets
      • Digital marketing expertise; firm understanding of testing strategies and execution of all digital assets.
