  • Overview

    This role is responsible for the development of global business intelligence reporting initiatives. This role will provide operational analytics support to the Global Sales and Sales Operations organizations which may include gathering requirements, as well as rolling out analytics and reporting solutions to key business users. It will require working with the business stakeholders and Sales leadership. The Senior Analyst is responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and supporting the Global Sales and Sales Operations organizations. The incumbent will work with the business users and management to understand and fulfill their business intelligence/reporting information needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for building and maintaining Microsoft BI reports based on current and future requirements.

      Recommend pricing strategies for NA based on the analysis of current and future trends. 

      Responsible for building standard and custom reporting.
    • Publish and maintain dashboards and reports that support the sales organization and support functions (e.g. Sales Operations team).
    • Participate in UAT Training pertaining to the reporting/analytics.
    • Work with Salesforce consultants and internal departments to create standardized reporting for our sales organization.
    • Work with Oracle (consultants) or IT to create standardized reporting for our sales organization.
    • Work with Oracle (consultants) or IT to work toward making OBI user friendly.
    • Researches or attends conferences (i.e. an Oracle conference) to learn about new products or techniques that could improve Zebra's performance.
    • Develop report specifications, data requirements and provide analysis to resolve business-related problems. Improve reporting processes whenever possible.
    • Provide support to users through data analysis and research of business processes. This analysis may identify gaps in business process and lead to efforts to improve those processes.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Preferred Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a Business-related focus preferred, or equivalent experience.
    • Preferred Work Experience (years):
      • 5 + years of experience creating/updating/running sales or revenue reporting; 2+ years of experience creating sales reporting within Salesforce.com
    • Key Skills and Competencies:
      • Strong analytical, communication scheduling and organizational skills.
      • Attention to detail required.
      • Ability to work with teams globally.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present technical and business solution concepts to all levels across functional domains (both technical and non-technical audiences) from a business perspective, while developing the specifications that can be understood and implemented by the technical team
      • Strong desire to keep current on new technologies that push the limits of what we can do creatively.
      • Proactive- Must want to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery.
      • Team player attitude with a focus on the success of the team is a MUST.
      • Proactively collaborates with other team members across global time zones with the upmost professionalism, tact and resolve.
