  • Overview

    This position manages, drives and leads the relationship between business partners and IT.  Collaborates on strategy development, project proposal creation, and ensures alignment between teams.  Possesses deep knowledge of the business processes supported by IT solutions in the following Business Unit areas: Sales, Marketing, Supplies and Latin America.   Monitors, manages, and oversees performance of information technology delivery of IT services to ensure the business value is realized.  Works closely with the business, information technology user groups and contracted service providers to assess and prioritize needs by way of the established portfolio planning processes. Establishes and monitors service level agreements. Solicits feedback from users and communicates scorecards. Performs cost and spend analysis to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future needs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for supporting and enabling IT capabilities for the Global Sales & Marketing and Supplies business functions including all aspects of project and portfolio planning, business case development, process and application roadmaps.
    • Works closely with business function leadership to analyze trends and understand business requirements. Serves as the primary point within the IT organization on resolution of IT issues for the supported business units.
    • Collaborates with business functions to understand strategy and desired outcomes. Helps to align, advocate IT capabilities that can contribute to business strategy (ie. technology, innovation) or increase productivity.
    • Serve as the regional IT lead for the Latin America organization and regional IT footprint. Responsible for the IT operating budget within that region.
    • Primary owner and point of contact for the Salesforce.com platform and vendor relationship.
    • Partners with Business Leadership to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Connects business needs and IT capabilities to provide strategic guidance on business initiatives.
    • Help to manage the IT demand pipeline: prioritize and sequence according to business needs. Help to ensures the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are being fully realized throughout the enterprise.
    • Directs a team of business relationship advisors who are responsible for supporting the individual business units, and in the planning, implementation and support of IT projects and business requirement alignment.
    • Supports initiative teams with skills in process excellence, project management, facilitation, problem solving, and value creation to drive toward required outcomes; help identify and resolve capacity, resourcing and any other red flag issues needing leadership attention.
    • Ensures effective stakeholder engagement and communications; keeps executives aware of any red flags concerning timing, budget, integration of process.
    • Facilitates resolution of complex, cross-functional issues with leadership team.
    • Develops Key Performance Indicators and metrics with the business unit process owners

    Qualifications

    Preferred Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree required.  Advanced Degree preferred.

    Preferred Work Experience (years):

    • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience with a strong knowledge of systems and cross functional processes.
    • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
    • Experience in Saa based Marketing and Sales CRM applications.
    • Strong working knowledge of downstream back office systems including but not limited to ERP, data warehouse and reporting systems and Service applications.
    • Solid knowledge of Marketing & Sales lifecycle.
