  • Overview

    The HR Analytics Advisor will build the HR reporting and analytics platform, maintain it, develop extensive reporting around it and execute rigorous analysis as it evolves to distill key insights around our talent and business. This role will work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure HRBPs and their clients have the data they need to be well-informed and able to make thoughtful, data-driven decisions. The role combines “hands-on” technical development and data analysis with strategic consulting.


    1. Build a scalable and sustainable model for the technical, process and delivery platform of Zebra’s HR reporting and analytics effort. Design a scalable and sustainable model to meet key data needs of the organization on various topics related to human resources (e.g. Performance management, attrition, culture, diversity, etc.).
    2. Gather data and prepare HR / Financial reporting, scorecards/dashboards and analyses on key HR metrics using relational databases.
    3. Responsible for being a thought partner to the business in creating HR analytics as a competitive advantage for Zebra.
    4. With awareness of tools, technologies and capabilities within the digital and analytics eco-system, the individual in this role will be responsible for developing solutions to business problems using advanced analytics.
    5. Identify and analyze opportunities as well as manage the execution and delivery of projects.
    6. Assist with HR technology implementations and data maintenance. Flag data integrity, administration and validation issues.
    7. Partner closely with the global HR teams as well as other functions to ensure consistent HR data integrity and treatment.
    8. Anticipates questions, thinks ahead, plans for contingencies.
    9. Finds alternative/practical solutions when ideal solutions are not possible.
    10. Maintains confidentiality and delivers with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner.

    • BA/BS degree in economics, statistics, finance, social science, psychology, or another field that uses quantitative analysis (mathematics, engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8+ years in an analytics role within the HR discipline.
    • Experienced in analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships with a deep understanding of data with the ability to perform data mining in a big data environment.
