    The Global Content Marketing Strategist is responsible for the development of B2B global marketing messages and content that is activated, localized or translated by several marketing partners via campaigns, website or other marketing initiatives. This cross-functional leader collaborates closely with internal regional and vertical SMEs to gather necessary input and perspective to develop the right global marketing materials while advancing their knowledge of the Manufacturing and Field Operations market Zebra serves, ultimately becoming a vertical marketing SME. Strong marketing strategy acumen, the ability to independently drive highly visible projects from planning to completion and determination to gain alignment and consensus within a highly matrixed organization are key qualifications of this role.


    • Leads the planning and strategic definition of content used in awareness, demand generation and seller enablement activities developed for a key audience as part of a global content marketing strategy.  This includes assets such as Zebra.com vertical pages, campaign landing pages, emails, advertising campaigns, videos and multimedia presentations and more.
    • Proactively plans, scopes, budgets, briefs, and tracks content marketing projects. Skilled at working closely with in-house creative and external agency resources to bring those plans to life.
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships across marketing organization, particularly with digital and regional teams on the topics of content requirements and performance to ensure a closed loop.
    • Participates in market research projects targeting assigned vertical, driving Zebra thought leadership programs.
    • Act as the “demand creation expert” for area of responsibility, including the monitoring of tactical performance, market trends, industry best practices to drive future strategic decisions and adjustments.


    Preferred Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar.

    Preferred Work Experience (years):

    • 7+ years of relevant work experience in B2B marketing
    • Experience creating marketing content in the manufacturing industry preferred

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Skilled marketing content strategist, inclusive of aligning a content calendar to a go-to-market plan and in delivering content against that calendar.
    • Solid understanding of translating business requirements and brand personality into tactical assets, copy, and design.
    • Exceptional influencing skills; Leading without direct authority; Cross functional partnership & leadership skills.
    • Detailed understanding of the creative production process and experience managing both internal and external agency relationships.
    • Ability to think strategically and guide fellow stakeholders, based on Marketing expertise.
