    The IT Business Relationship Manager will serve as liaison between Information Technology and Marketing, Sales, Channel and/OR Product Engineering business functions. You will act as a domain expert for the assigned functions to include intake of new request(s), support the design and delivery of systems and/or services, identify and execute on process improvement opportunities. You will build and sustain relationships with assigned functions to gain an understanding of the team goals, business plans, and key performance indicators to ensure technology solutions excel business results. The IT BRM will monitor and oversees performance of IT delivery to ensure business value is realized and recognized! You will work closely with business groups to assess and prioritize established portfolio planning processes!

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees formulation of the strategy development, project proposal creation, and ensures alignment between teams.
    • Guides the business processes supported by IT solutions in at least one of the following functional areas: Sales, Channel, Marketing, & Product Engineering.
    • Leads the development and execution of service level agreements.
    • Handles feedback from users, communicates scorecards and implements improvement strategy.
    • Handles cost and spend analysis to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future needs.
    • Researches and learns of new technologies and trends that align with strategies. Communicates to business and IT teams in simple and relevant ways.
    • Oversees complex detailed strategy discussions/plans with business & IT teams
    • Leads roadmap discussions with teams and create IT/Business Roadmaps
    • Leads activities to align Business, IT and Industry strategies
    • Runs activities to understand value of projects in Business terms including KPIs
    • Lead Business Impact Assessments
    • Advocate Process & Technology Standards
    • Gather and respond to complex Voice of Customer input
    • Lead and develop Business Facing RFPs
    • Leads the identification of Projects and Priorities aligned to strategies
    • Handles the creation of complex Business Cases and gains approval
    • Present Projects to Senior and Executive leaders for awareness and approval
    • Ensure each project has a defined Scope, Objective and Approach documented include Organizational Change Management strategy.
    • Oversees and reviews Organizational Change Management plans and deliverables required during each tollgate (phase) of a project.
    • Ensure Readiness Assessments are completed prior to go-live of projects
    • Lead the Value Realization Analysis of projects after implementation to measure budget performance and business value realized.
    • Leads customer concerns from business partners with all levels of the organization

    Strategic Alignment:

    • Collaborates and drives with the product business units and business functions to understand strategy and desired outcomes. Helps to align, advocate IT capabilities and advocate to IT on behalf of the business needs, that can give to business strategy (i.e., technology, innovation) and/ or increase productivity.
    • Partners with Business Leadership to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Connects business needs and IT capabilities to provide strategic guidance on business initiatives.
    • Coordinates development of Multiyear IT roadmaps linked to Business strategy and capabilities.

    Change Management:

    • Identifies and provides resolutions of complex, multi-functional issues with leadership team.
    • Conducts impact analysis assessment of Information technology projects and creates change management recommendations for business leadership.
    • Works to provide change; communication of what is changing and coordination and approval of downtimes.

    Escalation Management:

    • Acts as the primary point of contact for critical issues from Business unit.
    • Facilitates resolution of escalations by connecting responsible or impacted parties. Influences discussions and negotiates issue resolution.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred.
    • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology required.
    • Experience in Business Relationship Management working with Marketing, Sales, Channel, and/OR Product Engineering business functions required.
