Whether through rapid repair and replacement, Managed Services that oversee asset use and health, freeing IT and Operations resources, or giving insights to improve business operations, we keep customers doing what they do best. We provide repair service and technical support for millions of Zebra devices in the field.

     

    The GMSS Product Management team drives the planning and development of service products to optimize the company’s products and solutions. The team applies industry experience and knowledge of Zebra’s products as well as the competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product opportunities. Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.

     

    As a senior software Product Management in our Service organization you will be driving continuous improvement of our industry leading Visibility services products. This innovative solution combines traditional device data,  IoT device data from sensors data on our devices, backend business process data and other system of records to deliver actionable intelligence to our customer to optimize their device availability and utilization. The emphasis is on aggregating this data from the many sources and converting it into information that will help customer and partner manage their business operations. Our goal is to enable smoother operations by providing actionable insights into potential problems before they impact the business.   You will work cross functionality within Zebra with our highly innovative team of software engineers, data scientists and product managers to evolve the existing solutions while incubating new ideas.

    Responsibilities

    • Through comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, and customer/partner requirements you will define and drive the end-to-end lifecycle of our Visibility IQ cloud based software product.
    • Leads cross-functional activities required to evolve the software platform and drive customer adoption. Fully accountable for integrated business planning.
    • Works collaboratively with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operational support functional leaders to drive the success of VisibilityIQ.  
    • Strong business acumen and presentation skill required to drive wide ranging tasks from business case development to continuous stakeholder management to customer/partner sales support.
    • Defining and analyzing business data, metrics and reports to understand why a given behavior is occurring. 
    • Required to provide source content to marketing, legal, engineering, sales and operational stakeholders inorder to keep all function moving toward upcoming release (internal) and launches (external)
    • Strong agile software development experience is required to effectively communicate to and collaborate with our software development teams.

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree
    • 8-12 years experience
    • Strong attention to detail/quality
    • Strong process adherence
    • Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
    • Advanced level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Advanced P & L knowledge
    • Advanced market knowledge in assigned category
    • Customer service values/orientation
    • Strong professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management, follow through)
    • Intermediate analytical and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated experience in managing execution of portfolio management functions
    • Demonstrates good judgment in decision making; applies knowledge and past experience to guide decisions
    • Strong business acumen/industry knowledge in one or more primary verticals
    • Strong Presentation Skills. Formal training strongly preferred.
    • Strong communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
    • Advanced problem solving skills
