    Provides technical system operations support for solutions and systems hosted in public cloud, virtualized, and container environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Produces professional-level technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for computer/data center operations for public cloud, virtualized, and container environments.
    • Contributes to install, configure and seek server, public cloud, virtualized, and container environments.
    • Consults with team to uphold access control, data integrity and file system security for the computer/data center environment.
    • Builds to develop information technology and infrastructure projects which support on/off premise and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions.
    • Internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
    • Collaborates with team regarding company-wide, web-enabled and cloud-technology solutions
    • Monitor existing infrastructure and processes, identify areas of weaknesses and propose improvements
    • Resolve service outages and build automated responses for recurrence prevention
    • Balance partner concerns from team members to assist with client and platform level issues
    • Coordinate incident management, recommend changes, and work on technical projects
    • Create and maintains documentation for processes, supported infrastructure resources and services
    • Create new alerts, analyzes trends, find anomalies, fix things, and ask why something broke
    • Participate in on-call rotation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree preferred.
    • Azure, Google, or AWS cloud Administration Certification
    •  

    Preferred Work Experience (years):

    • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in system administration, 2+ years focused on cloud platform management
    • Hands on experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or one of the other major IaaS providers is required

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Container compute (Docker/Kubernetes) experience
    • Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively on projects
    • Demonstrated experience trouble shooting
    • Deep knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
    • Solid systems administration understanding (Linux and Windows)
    • Experience troubleshooting Operating Systems and Applications
    • Experience developing automation solutions and working in a highly automated environment
    • In-depth experience with Windows Server 2012+ and Linux operating systems, Cent OS\Redhat, ubuntu
    • Experience with data storage and data backup technologies
    • Knowledge of baseline and operations inside a cloud environment
    • Experience with 3 or more is required (Rabbit MQ, Powershell, Linux bash scripting, python scripting)
    • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
    • Experience in monitoring and setting up alerting for Cloud components
    • Experience developing new systems and tools
    • Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures
    • Experience in Microsoft AD and LDAP
    • Advanced analytical skills
    • Demonstrated Project Management skills
    • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
    • Experience identifying and implement process improvements
    • Experience in load balancing solutions, including knowledge of SSL certificates and its installation
    • Good knowledge in managing MySQL, PostgreSQL 9.3+, and MS-SQL DB’s
