    Marketing Analytics will support Marketing in achieving our vision of expanding & enhancing Zebra’s sources of revenue, by better understanding opportunities for growth. Our work will provide Zebra marketing with a competitive advantage in growing Zebra solutions, products and services with new & existing customers and partners.


    The primary purpose of the Marketing Analytics & Insights Advisor is to collect, analyze, and report on sales and marketing related data to increase overall sales and channel productivity, and ROI.


    This position supports the channel business development and marketing team by providing category analysis and advanced consumer insights by leveraging a data-driven approach to drive the continued evolution of the marketing and strategic analytic capabilities. The Marketing Analytics & Insights Advisor will support our marketing teams to advance the marketing analytics maturity and overall future-state analytics business model with insights gained from analyzing marketing and company data.


    • Identify issues and use advanced analytics methods to extract value from business data for Global Marketing Programs

    • Develop hypotheses to improve marketing performance (productivity, effectiveness, investment realignment and ROI) and our overall strategy for the global marketing programs
    • Develop and own the strategic alerts model; deliver alerts / analytics to specific audiences based on marketing engagement activities
    • Analyze and evaluate financial, marketing, and operational programs and their impact on results and make recommendations to C-level management
    • Perform large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to answer business questions
    • Conduct research on cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/ deep learning/artificial intelligence


    Preferred Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other closely related field

    Preferred Work Experience (years):

    • 8+ years of experience involving significant quantitative work; Experience with statistical software, scripting languages, and packages (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS, and Python)

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Analyze data to identify patterns, uses judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focuses on the crux of issues to identify high-leverage intervention points and strategies
    • Seeks to understand business needs, and gets results that have a clear, positive, and direct impact on business performance
    • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization by taking a data driven approach and ensure that proposals are supported by strong logic and a compelling business case.
    • Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
    • Proven experience in conducting statistical analysis and building models with advanced scripting language such as R, SPSS, or other analytic tools
    • Experience building and deploying predictive models, web scrapping, and scalable data pipelines
    • Strong understanding of statistical methods and skills such as Bayesian Networks Inference, linear and non-linear regression, hierarchical mixed models/multi-level modeling
    • Strong presentation skills in front of C-suite executives
