    The Technical Writer manages content creation for a company product ensuring content regarding the product stays relevant. Works closely with all department heads to ensure contents are updated on a timely basis and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the contents that are delivered on our sites. Keeping up to date with industry best practice and techniques for delivering product documentation.

    Responsibilities

    • Key liaison between internal Zebra support teams (product management, software engineering, technical publications) and Zebra customers.

    • Work with engineers and product managers to publish support information on Zebra.com software download files, product images, how-to videos, technical articles, and other educational materials – and organize that information in a way that is intuitive to customers, so they can find what they need to in order to resolve technical issues and get the most out of their Zebra application.

    • Contribute to Zebra's Customer Self-Service vision, to ensure we provide a great customer support experience at zebra.com.

    • Common processes and SLAs for content development

    • Document application features into meaningful descriptions to help users be successful in using the Zebra application.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 2 plus years experience; experience in a technical writing role is required
    • Proficient with Microsoft office and experience creating and editing web content
    • Basic understanding of tools used in design and delivery of end-user documentation
    • Strong professional work behaviors - accountability, teamwork, attention to detail
