  • Overview

    The primary purpose of the Customer Advocacy Lead is to manage and develop a variety of customer thought leadership content and fulfill customer reference requests globally to support marketing and PR initiatives across Zebra. He/she will partner with sales, marketing and product teams to identify, recruit and secure customer references to use for sales and marketing purposes. His/her collaboration with cross-functional department leaders will ensure the timely creation of marketing content, drive awareness of new customer references and materials, fulfill customer reference requests from sales as well as track content development and reference impact which ultimately helps drive Zebra’s growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate Zebra’s innovation through customer-focused storytelling that aligns with business objectives
    • Collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally to develop case studies, videos and other PR and marketing content
    • Align with regional marketing and sales teams to identify, recruit and secure customer references across all industries
    • Work with marketing, sales and product teams to actively promote and grow the customer reference program; Increase reference adoption, usage and visibility through proactive outreach, internal communications and creative messaging
    • Maintain and grow the customer reference database to ensure accuracy and usability for sales, marketing and product teams
    • Manage reference request fulfillment and track reference activity and outcomes to measure impact; Produce monthly/quarterly reports and regular communications to stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5-8 years of work experience in PR, communications and/or marketing
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills; energetic, strategic and creative individual with ability to meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • High integrity and accountability; work effectively with global teams across diverse cultures and geographies
    • Outstanding writing/editing/positioning skills
    • Speaks/writes fluent English; multiple languages preferred
    • Work confidently at all levels within the organization with ability to support business objectives
    • Provide strategic counsel, message positioning, editing, etc. to a variety of executive-level clients and develop partnerships with the strategy, marketing, and operational teams
