    We are looking for an exceptional team member to work as part of our Global Business Development team, to generate incremental business for Learning Services in the US. This is a critical role to build and leverage existing leadership of Zebra and future growth outside of our core markets.

     

    The ‘Account Manager Professional & Learning Services’ will be part of the “Global Business Development team”. This team includes Business Development functions for Professional Services, Global Partners and OEM. The team is part of the Global Sales and Services organization. The team provides business development support to the regional and local sales teams based in the countries. This role will also be tasked with defining if new routes or channels to market are required, and making recommendations to senior management as to what this “Go To Market” model would consist of, define the business development needs for this market and develop pertinent contacts in the industry.

     

    The ideal candidate will be centrally located in the midwest, however willing to consider candidates anywhere in North America provided a major airport is within close proximity. ~ 50% domestics travel will be expected. This is a remote opportunity. 

    Responsibilities

    • Be a Professional and Learning Services advocate to customers, partners and the local sales teams.
    • Develop business strategy jointly with the regional teams and different stakeholders.
    • Build partnerships and overall ecosystem for professional and learning services.
    • Manage business development activities together with in country resources across region.
    • Work with key stakeholders to support and drive professional and learning services adoption by customers and partners.
    • Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to ramp up pipeline growth.
    • Work closely with marketing to create and showcase value of Zebra.
    • Develop the right senior and mid-level relationships within the chosen partners/customers to drive the messaging to our joint target sales teams and customers.
    • Ensure alignment with other divisions of Zebra e.g. marketing, product marketing, legal, finance and the regional channel and end user sales teams.
    • Coordinate with regional / in-country Zebra resources & ensure where appropriate the partner teams are educated, supported, and trained to sell the full portfolio of Zebra professional services and solutions.
    • Coordinate with regional / in-country resources and facilitate and support joint demand generation and business development initiatives, following them through to deal ownership and closure where required.
    • Engage with and support other regional members of the team and the regional / in-country Zebra resources dedicated to the specific partner accounts
    • Appropriate sales forecasting in line with standard Zebra processes
    • Meet / exceed pipeline and bookings goals

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors or equivalent experience
    • 2-5 + years of applicable B2B sales experience; prior/current territory development or business development strongly sought after 
    • Familiarity with selling Services, specifically Learning Services a plus, but not required
    • Hungry and eager to take risks; a hunter-sales mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset
    • Ability to apply Solution Selling concepts to customer situations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Understands policies and practices related to role and shares ideas for improvement
