Our newest portfolio makes a wide range of patented time-temperature indicators for temperature-sensitive vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. The temperature-monitoring labels and devices provide a visual alert to health-care workers around potential safety issues while time and temperature-sensitive products are in transit.

 

Zebra is looking for a Project Manager for new medical device product development projects to own project launch, planning, control, and delivery against time-line and budget metrics for assignments within their area of responsibility.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Effectively manages projects of moderate to significant, scope leading the project team to execute against time-line and budget metrics. Creates a clear project Scope statement, and builds a supporting plan which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs. Includes simple Risk Management plans
  • Checks progress regularly against the plan and makes adjustments to optimize execution. Documents progress, against the project plan throughout the project. Formulates status reports and presents to the team and immediate manager. Personally knowledgeable on most aspects of the program, down to a reasonable level of detail
  • Balances scope, schedule and budget considerations to adjust the project with minimal impact to the business
  • Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Adjusts the plan per management guidelines as delays or obstacles are experienced
  • May lead multiple, limited to moderate scope projects simultaneously, or manage part of a larger program under the supervision of management. May handle simpler, multi-team projects with similar resources and budgets

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 5+ years experience project management in  medical device manufacturer
  2. Strong communication to all levels of an organization and ability to prepare project summaries and present to leadership on a regular basis
  3. Demonstrated solid experience of advanced concepts with project management approaches, tools in applications and methodologies
  4. Intermediate to advanced skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. PMP certification
  3. Demonstrated experience of technical business unit assigned to (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
