We are looking for an outstanding team member, based in North America to work as part of our diverse Global Business Development team, to be the focal point for developing the GTM strategy and providing business development focus on Global System Integrators (Accenture, HCL, Cognizant, Deloitte, …). In this is role you will build new relationships for future growth in- and outside of the existing core markets with a strong focus on our SaaS proposition.


The BDM will be part of the “Global Business Development team”. This team includes Business Development functions for Global Partners and OEM. The team is part of the Global Sales and Services organization. The team provides business development support to the regional and local sales teams based in the countries. This role will also be tasked with defining if new routes or channels to market are required and making recommendations to senior management as to what this “Go To Market” model would consist of, define the business development needs for this market and develop pertinent contacts in the industry.


This role is about developing business with the game changers in our industry that will define the next decade: AI Powered Workforce Management, IoT, Augmented Reality, Big Data, Computer Vision, Robots, …






  • Develop multi-million $ business with GSI’s focusing on our software proposition (Reflexis, …)
  • Qualify prospects and consult about business challenges and requirements.
  • Be a GSI/SaaS advocate to customers, partners, and Zebra regional sales teams. Makes presentations to in- and external prospects and stakeholders.
  • Develop business development strategy jointly with the global/regional sales teams and different stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships and overall ecosystem for Zebra offerings.
  • Foster tight linkage between sales, marketing, product, and legal organizations.
  • Manage business development activities together with in-country resources across regions.
  • Develop the right senior and mid-level relationships within the chosen partners to model/build out new market opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to ramp up pipeline growth.
  • Work closely with marketing to create and showcase value of Zebra.
  • Coordinate with regional / in-country resources and facilitate and support joint demand generation and business development initiatives, following them through to deal ownership and closure where required.
  • Engage with and support other regional members of the Business Development team and the regional / in-country Zebra resources dedicated to specific accounts
  • Appropriate sales forecasting in line with standard Zebra processes
  • Meet / exceed pipeline and bookings goals


  • Bachelors or equivalent experience; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) common
  • 8+ years of applicable work experience
  • Helps develop Zebra technical solutions; expert in some areas
  • Leads teams in development of advanced solution selling concepts and partnership creation; proven sales success only
  • Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead others
  • Go-getter mentality and an optimistic, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, good listening, and presentation skills
  • Master Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English speaker, multi-lingual preferably
  • Demonstrable business development skills in the world of global systems integrators
  • A passion for and background in software technology and services (SaaS)
  • Comprehensive understanding of vertical market (healthcare, manufacturing, retail) marketing and business development.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis
  • Work from home office (Zebra offices are available)
